Senior Software Engineer, Full-stack

About the role

Anthropic is looking for an experienced senior full‑stack engineer to join its Product Engineering organization. You will work on consumer and enterprise products such as Claude.ai, the Anthropic API, and mission‑driven applications, taking end‑to‑end ownership of the user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Build developer‑facing products and tools—including consoles, SDKs, documentation, and observability systems—that enable confidence in Claude’s capabilities.
• Partner with engineering managers, product leaders, designers, and researchers to translate new model capabilities into usable experiences.
• Own technical quality across the stack, focusing on performance, accessibility, reliability, and developer experience.
• Scale solutions to serve millions of global users.
• Contribute to beneficial deployment programs for nonprofits, schools, healthcare providers, and other resource‑constrained organizations.
• Develop vertical AI products tailored to specific industries.
