Senior Software Engineer – Azure & Internal Business Applications

About the role

The Senior Software Engineer – Azure & Internal Business Applications is a hands‑on senior engineering position responsible for designing, building, modernising and supporting internal business applications on Microsoft Azure. You will work closely with business teams, analysts, junior developers and fusion development partners to turn prototypes and early‑stage tools into secure, scalable, enterprise‑grade solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain internal business applications using Azure services and modern full‑stack practices.
• Own solution architecture from concept through implementation, covering data flow, integration patterns, security, deployment and long‑term supportability.
• Build modern front‑end experiences with React, TypeScript/JavaScript and reusable component libraries.
• Develop back‑end services, REST APIs, serverless functions and cloud‑native components using Azure‑native services.
• Collaborate with business analysts and citizen developers to evaluate, refactor and scale early‑stage tools into reliable enterprise solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, conduct code reviews, guide architecture decisions and mentor junior team members.

Required profile

• Senior‑level full‑stack engineer with strong experience in Microsoft Azure cloud development.
• Proven ability to take a project from ideation through deployment and ongoing improvement.
• Comfortable working in a business‑facing environment and guiding less‑experienced developers.
