Senior Service Technician - Mason

About the role

The Senior Service Technician (Mason) leads technical and mechanical work across residential units, common areas, and grounds to ensure they meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. Reporting to the Area Maintenance Manager, this role combines hands‑on repairs with coordination of make‑ready activities and preventative maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve resident service requests and preventative maintenance issues, adhering to safety standards and code requirements.
• Manage the make‑ready process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor scheduling, and final quality checks.
• Track, retrieve, and order maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment while maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Conduct and document all required property and unit inspections using platforms such as Leonardo 247 and Entrata.
• Complete service documentation promptly and accurately to ensure proper tracking of work orders.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities by removing trash and debris and performing routine upkeep.

Required profile

• Proven experience in residential or commercial property maintenance and mechanical repairs.
• Ability to diagnose defects, perform repairs, and follow established safety and code guidelines.
• Experience coordinating make‑ready activities and working with vendors or contractors.
• Strong organizational skills for inventory management and documentation.
• Comfort working under the supervision of an Area Maintenance Manager.
