Senior Manager, Cash Application

About the role

Anthropic is rapidly scaling its AI business and needs a senior leader to own the global cash application function within its Invoice‑to‑Cash organization. Reporting to the Head of Invoice‑to‑Cash, you will be responsible for daily operations, KPI and SLA reporting, and the continuous improvement of processes, controls and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the global cash application function, including daily operations, team output, systems, controls and reporting.
• Drive the automation roadmap to achieve a largely touch‑less cash application process, leveraging the Tesorio platform and internal AI tools.
• Define, monitor and refine KPIs and SLAs that measure accuracy, timeliness and exception handling.
• Build and lead a small, high‑leverage team focused on managing exceptions rather than processing every transaction.
• Collaborate with Collections, Credit, Billing Operations, Revenue Accounting, Treasury, Finance Systems and Go‑to‑Market teams to ensure seamless end‑to‑end cash flow.
• Maintain and update policies and procedures as payment methods, entities and systems evolve.

Required profile

• Proven experience scaling cash application or accounts‑receivable operations through automation rather than headcount.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to run operations using data and make evidence‑based recommendations.
• Demonstrated people‑leadership skills, capable of building and managing a high‑performing, exception‑focused team.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities across finance and commercial functions.
