About the role

We are seeking a Senior Drafter to join our Houston team and support pipeline projects for the oil and gas sector. You will use AutoCAD to produce alignment sheets, permits, and as‑built drawings that reflect field conditions accurately.

Key responsibilities

Create pipeline alignment sheets, plats, exhibits, and permit drawings using AutoCAD.
Prepare design drawings in plan, section, detail, or profile formats as required.
Develop sketches for details not covered on existing drawings to match as‑installed conditions.
Generate drawings, forms, maps, and lists based on approved designer and engineer details.

Required profile

2‑5 years of drafting experience or equivalent education.
Experience in the oil and gas industry.
Ability to interpret maps, plat maps, as‑builts, construction drawings, and gas service records.
Self‑starter with strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.

Required skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Experience with Route Mapper and/or Plat Mapper (preferred).
Legal description drafting.
