Senior Direct Procurement Manager – Hardware

About the role

Roku is seeking a Senior Direct Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing and supplier management for its hardware consumer‑electronics portfolio. You will shape global procurement strategies for critical components such as System‑on‑Chip, memory, and other semiconductors, as well as manufacturing partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for hardware components and manufacturing services.
• Identify, qualify, and manage new and existing suppliers to meet cost, quality, lead‑time, and capacity targets.
• Lead RFI/RFQ/RFP processes, cost negotiations, and contract negotiations (NDAs, MDSA, SOWs, etc.).
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Operations, Quality, Finance, and Legal throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Support design‑to‑cost decisions and drive cost‑reduction initiatives for new and sustaining programs.
• Analyze cost drivers, market trends, and supply‑chain risks to improve total cost of ownership.

Required profile

• Proven experience in strategic sourcing and supplier management for hardware or consumer‑electronics categories.
• Strong track record of negotiating complex contracts and driving cost efficiencies.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with engineering, product, finance, and legal teams.
• Excellent analytical skills and understanding of semiconductor and manufacturing markets.
