Senior Designer, 2D Visual Merchandising

About the role

The Senior Designer, 2D Visual Merchandising will join the Americas Visual Merchandising team to create and adapt 2D graphics for retail environments such as Sephora and Ulta. Reporting to the Senior Art Director, Global Visual Merchandising, you will ensure all artwork follows global brand guidelines while meeting regional needs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and adapt 2D VM creative for NPL campaigns, permanent rollouts, and trade events across the Americas.
• Translate global designs to retailer‑specific fixture formats and create artwork for fixture variations.
• Execute artwork revisions, including copy updates, pricing changes, and translations.
• Mark up images for retouching, up‑resing, and CMYK conversion.
• Prepare and organize files for final release to printers according to retailer and vendor specifications.
• Maintain quality control by checking assets against specifications and guidelines before release.
• Review and approve printer proofs and ensure on‑time delivery of all artwork.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Creative, Copy, Project Management, and Visual Merchandising teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in 2D visual merchandising and retail graphics.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously.
• Collaborative mindset with a can‑do attitude and openness to feedback.

Required skills

• Image retouching and up‑resing.
• CMYK conversion for print production.
• Preparation of print‑ready files and proof review.
