Senior Customer Development Manager – Walmart

About the role

As a Senior Customer Development Manager you will lead all sales‑related activities for Walmart and Sam’s Club within Nestlé Health Science. You will partner with internal teams and the retailer to drive category growth, execute strategic plans and ensure seamless day‑to‑day operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead annual strategic plans with Walmart and Sam’s Club to drive category growth and sales.
• Identify and execute growth initiatives such as off‑shelf displays, distribution gains and promotional opportunities.
• Maintain deep knowledge of the retailer’s go‑to‑market model, priorities and competitive landscape.
• Collaborate with internal functions including Customer Strategy, Category Management, Finance and Demand Planning.
• Manage item setup, e‑commerce/omnichannel support, inventory and monthly forecasting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 7 years of sales experience, including at least 4 years managing strategic FMCG customers.
• Proven experience in grocery, drug or mass‑retail channels; Walmart/Sam’s Club experience is a plus.
• Background in consumer goods, vitamins or supplements preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Retail Link and Scintilla platforms.
• Experience using Nestlé’s Osprey system.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
