Senior Compensation Specialist

About the role

Zinnia, a leading technology platform for life and annuities, is looking for a Senior Compensation Specialist to shape and manage its global compensation programs. You will ensure compensation practices are competitive, equitable, and aligned with business strategy across the United States, India, and Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Administer day‑to‑day global compensation programs, policies, and practices across multiple geographies.
• Own and maintain the organization’s job architecture in Kamsa, including families, levels, titles, and salary ranges.
• Refresh and validate employee, job, and compensation data monthly in Kamsa.
• Maintain job mappings and market benchmarks for each applicable labor market.
• Lead two annual compensation cycles, handling planning, eligibility, budgeting, system administration, communications, audits, and reporting.
• Manage compensation reviews for promotions, market adjustments, and off‑cycle changes.
• Conduct market analyses and internal equity reviews to support compensation recommendations.
• Price new and existing positions using compensation surveys and market data, with specific focus on India and other international markets.
• Partner with local and global HR teams to understand regional compensation practices and employee needs.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in compensation design, administration, and analytics.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and internal equity.
• Proven project‑management skills and ability to manage complex, multi‑phase cycles.
• Global perspective with experience supporting compensation across the US, India, and Canada.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work with HR partners worldwide.
