Senior Business Systems Analyst – Finance Systems

About the role

Anthropic is looking for an experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst to lead the Finance Systems function. You will own the design and configuration of Workday Financials, ensuring the platform becomes the single source of truth for all financial reporting as the company prepares for public‑company readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the internal functional lead for Workday Financials, guiding configuration decisions and validating designs.
• Design and configure the Financial Data Model, including Chart of Accounts, worktags, dimensional hierarchies and accounting books to support GAAP and management reporting.
• Develop and maintain Prism Analytics and Accounting Center solutions, integrating external data sources such as BigQuery and Pigment.
• Gather requirements from Finance, Accounting and FP&A stakeholders and translate them into executive dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Participate in implementation workshops, define testable acceptance criteria, and manage defects and data‑quality issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Integration, Security and Financials configuration teams to align master data, journals, controls and service‑level agreements.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience as a Business Systems Analyst in finance or ERP environments.
• Deep knowledge of Workday Financials and financial data modeling concepts.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with implementation partners, engineering teams and finance stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on delivering reliable, scalable reporting solutions.
