Senior Architect with CA Experience

About the role

OMA New York is seeking a Senior Architect to lead Construction Administration (CA) on U.S. projects. The role involves overseeing all phases of design and construction, ensuring technical excellence, code compliance, and seamless coordination with consultants and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Construction Administration phase, including RFIs, submittals, site visits, and field observation reports.
• Produce and coordinate comprehensive design packages in collaboration with OMA Associates and Partners.
• Lead and mentor project teams, fostering client relationships and ensuring high‑quality deliverables.
• Oversee code compliance, permitting, and construction document accuracy as Architect of Record.
• Collaborate with consultants and contractors to resolve technical issues on site.

Required profile

• 8+ years of architectural experience covering all design phases, with extensive hands‑on CA work on U.S. projects.
• Professional or graduate degree in Architecture and a U.S. architecture license (D.C. registration a plus).
• Proven leadership in team and project management, including mentorship and client development.
• Strong communication skills in English and ability to work in an international, dynamic environment.
