Senior AI/ML Engineer - TS/SCI

About the role

Parsons is seeking a talented Senior AI/ML Engineer to prototype, develop, and deliver AI‑enhanced products that drive customer‑centric solutions. The position is hybrid, requiring three days onsite in Maryland each week.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and develop AI solutions within existing programs and products.
• Refine models using available data, analytical tools, and test cases.
• Work with graph and relational databases and diverse data formats such as text, JSON, and Pandas data frames.
• Present results and ideas to decision makers, customers, analysts, and other stakeholders.
• Consult with stakeholders to define features, objectives, and system requirements.
• Translate requirements into low‑level implementations and support cloud environments including AWS.
• Build infrastructure for extraction, transformation, and loading of data from multiple sources.
• Curate and collect data from traditional and non‑traditional sources.
• Collaborate with team members to monitor model performance and data accuracy.
• Document processes, models, and activities.

Required profile

• B.S. in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum five years of experience in AI/ML projects, data engineering, software development, or system integration.
• Active Top Secret clearance with polygraph eligibility.

Required skills

• Programming experience with Java, Python, or C++.
• Experience with secure, air‑gapped cloud environments such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis at scale.
• Experience with big‑data tools and scalable machine learning frameworks (e.g., Kafka, Apache Spark, Hadoop, SQL, NoSQL).
• Familiarity with Agile and Scaled Agile (SAFe) project planning.
