Senior Accounting & Finance Consultant (Controller Level)

About the role

PROVE Partners is seeking a Senior Accounting and Finance Consultant at the controller level to work remotely. The consultant will oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, treasury activities and internal controls for a fast‑growing healthcare finance business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes, including journal entries, accruals and reconciliations.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate classification of all transactions.
• Manage accounting functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, commissions and fixed‑asset accounting.
• Prepare cash reporting, budgeting support and treasury‑related activities.
• Coordinate with operational and finance stakeholders to ensure compliance with internal control procedures.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in accounting and finance within healthcare finance, specialty finance or receivables management.
• Proven ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with high accountability and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Experience supporting day‑to‑day accounting operations and financial close.
