Security Manager

About the role

Centerfield is seeking a Security Manager to lead day‑to‑day cybersecurity operations and continuously improve the company’s security program. Reporting to the SVP of IT, the manager will protect digital assets, oversee AI‑related security tooling, and ensure compliance with evolving regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage security operations including monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management and threat intelligence.
• Identify, assess and track cyber risks, recommending and implementing mitigations.
• Deploy, configure and govern AI security tools such as Harmonic and Weave, and develop safe‑use guidelines for generative AI.
• Maintain and enforce information security policies, standards and procedures.
• Lead a team of security analysts/engineers, handling workload, performance and development.
• Conduct third‑party vendor security assessments and support GRC activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security or related field.
• 5–7 years of progressive cybersecurity experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Security+ or GIAC preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical issues for non‑technical stakeholders.
