School RN – $34‑43 per hour (13‑week contract)

About the role

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse to work on a 13‑week contract in a school setting in La Plata, MD. The position provides an opportunity to deliver direct health care to students while collaborating with school staff and families.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct care for student illnesses, injuries, and chronic health conditions.
• Maintain accurate health records, including immunizations, screenings, and emergency plans.
• Administer medications and perform health assessments as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student well‑being.
• Follow school protocols for emergency response and health management.

Required profile

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license; willingness to obtain Maryland state licensure if not already held.
• School‑based experience preferred but not required; new graduates are welcome.
• Preferred: up to 2 years of pediatric nursing experience.
