Routing Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Routing (Dispatch) Coordinator to join SafeRide Health’s transportation operations team in San Antonio, Texas. The role focuses on efficiently routing and dispatching non-emergency medical trips while ensuring cost-effective transportation solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Route and dispatch both advance‑notice and short‑notice trip requests.
• Monitor live trip dashboards to track on‑time performance.
• Execute real‑time trip recovery processes when deviations occur.
• Ensure each trip is assigned to the most cost‑effective mode of transportation.
• Collaborate with transportation providers and healthcare facilities to resolve real‑time issues.
• Identify and correct mode‑of‑transport errors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred).
• At least one year of experience in transportation, delivery logistics, or related dispatch environments.
• Knowledge of Medicaid NEMT guidelines and Texas transit systems.
• Prior inbound call‑center experience.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and be a U.S. citizen.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts.
