RN - TOSH Inpatient Nights

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to work the night shift on the TOSH Inpatient unit. The RN will provide direct patient care, coordinate with the interdisciplinary team, and ensure safe, high‑quality clinical outcomes during overnight hours.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to inpatient residents during night shifts.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assess patient conditions.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to implement care plans.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and escalations.
• Maintain a safe and clean patient environment.

Required profile

• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Arkansas.
• Eligibility to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Experience in an inpatient or acute‑care setting preferred.
• Ability to work night shifts and handle a fast‑paced environment.
