RN PRN – Cardiology Clinic (Temporary)

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) on a PRN (as‑needed) basis to support the Cardiology Clinic. This temporary, fixed‑term position works day shifts and provides essential nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac evaluation and treatment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care, including assessments, medication administration, and monitoring of cardiac patients.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, physicians, and allied health staff to coordinate patient care plans.
• Document all nursing activities accurately in the electronic health record.
• Educate patients and families about cardiac procedures, post‑procedure care, and lifestyle modifications.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant clinical environment.

Required profile

• Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of Arkansas.
• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Ability to work day shifts in an on‑site clinic setting.

Required skills
