About the role

Apply your engineering expertise to design, develop and launch the next generation intravascular ultrasound catheter while supporting quality, reliability, compliance, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze engineering requirements and determine optimal design solutions for catheter products with advanced judgment and autonomy.
• Create and implement test plans, procedures, and protocols to verify and validate designs, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation of design specifications, test results, and validation activities, overseeing junior team documentation.
• Implement design improvements based on testing to enhance product quality, efficiency, performance, and reliability.
• Monitor catheter and system performance to identify improvement opportunities.
• Participate in design reviews, technical discussions, vendor evaluations, and supplier technology assessments.

Required profile

• No prior experience required; a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or biomedical engineering is required.
• Ability to perform physical, cognitive and environmental job requirements with or without accommodation.
