About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a Research Assistant II to join the Cannon Lab within the COM | MBIM department. This position supports ongoing research initiatives aimed at improving patient care and advancing medical knowledge.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with research projects as directed by senior investigators.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation.
• Support data collection, entry, and basic analysis.
• Ensure compliance with university and laboratory safety protocols.

Required profile

• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Current affiliation with the University of Arkansas System (e.g., student employee or graduate assistant) is preferred.
