Remote Contract Lawyer – $105-$140/hr

About the role

We are seeking experienced lawyers to join a remote, contract‑based team that supports the development of AI legal tools. You will work 10‑40 hours per week, providing expert analysis and annotation of legal documents to improve machine‑learning models.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, review, and annotate a wide variety of legal documents for AI training purposes.
• Evaluate and validate legal content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and jurisdictional compliance.
• Identify nuances in legal language, drafting styles, and substantive issues across multiple specialties.
• Collaborate with a diverse group of legal professionals to give feedback and enhance data quality.
• Produce clear written explanations, rationales, and clarifications for complex legal topics.
• Contribute domain‑specific insights that guide the improvement of AI legal tools.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD), LLB, or equivalent law degree from an accredited institution.
• Proven expertise in one or more legal domains such as corporate, intellectual property, litigation, contract, or regulatory law.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain legal concepts clearly.
• Track record of high‑quality legal analysis and drafting.
• Strong analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
