Remote Bookkeeper – Full‑Cycle Accounting

About the role

Torentify is seeking a detail‑oriented Remote Bookkeeper to manage ongoing financial operations for a growing privately held organization. Operating in a standalone capacity, this position focuses on directing full‑cycle bookkeeping, maintaining financial records, and delivering timely financial reporting directly to company leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Execute full‑cycle bookkeeping tasks, including managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounts.
• Maintain complete financial entries and operational documentation using Workamajig accounting software.
• Perform routine bank and account reconciliations to ensure financial ledger accuracy.
• Prepare routine financial reports, assist with annual budgeting, and provide financial insights to the owner.
• Preserve organized digital accounting archives and support smooth operational handover during a planned transition.

Required profile

• Proven track record in a standalone bookkeeping or full‑charge accounting role; formal education in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Proficiency with Workamajig or similar project‑based ERP/accounting platforms, financial reporting spreadsheets, and general ledger software.
• Full‑cycle bookkeeping, AP/AR workflows, bank reconciliations, budgeting assistance, attention to detail, and independent remote workflow management.
