Remote Accountant

About the role

Coalition Technologies is seeking a full‑time Remote Accountant to join its finance team. You will work Monday‑Friday, 9 am‑6 pm PST, handling the company’s bookkeeping, tax filings, and financial analysis from anywhere in the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Record all transactions in QuickBooks Online and maintain the general ledger.
• Reconcile bank statements, journal entries, and ledger balances.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Analyze financial performance and cash‑flow metrics to improve efficiency.
• Compare budget forecasts with actual results and report variances.
• Prepare and submit local, state, and federal tax filings.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of professional accounting experience, preferably with a small company.
• Demonstrated ability to handle local, state, and federal tax preparation.
• Strong teamwork orientation and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for cross‑department collaboration.
• Experience in a startup environment is a plus.
