Registered Nurse – BHSL PRN (Temporary)

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) on a PRN (as‑needed) basis to support the BHSL unit. This temporary, fixed‑term position offers flexible shift work within a collaborative, patient‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients, including assessments, medication administration, and wound care.
• Document patient interactions accurately in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies, ensuring safety and quality standards.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, state regulations, and infection control protocols.

Required profile

• Current, unrestricted RN license in the United States.
• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Ability to work varying shifts as required.
