Registered Nurse – Ambulatory Neurosurgery

About the role

Join the Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital team as a Registered Nurse in the Ambulatory Neurosurgery unit. You will provide patient‑centered care throughout the care journey, interacting directly with patients and families while supporting education and recovery.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting, including assessments, telephone triage, and care plan development.
• Administer medications and treatments, initiate CPR and emergency measures as needed.
• Notify physicians or Licensed Independent Providers of abnormal findings.
• Assist with specialized diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and operate specialized patient‑care equipment.
• Develop, evaluate, adapt, and document health education for patients and families.
• Provide coverage for other nursing roles within the department as required.

Required profile

• Graduate from an accredited ADN or BSN program.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• At least one year of recent RN experience or relevant clinical experience within Cleveland Clinic.
• Physical ability to perform full range of motion, manual dexterity, and lift up to 20 lb occasionally.
