Quality Specialist

About the role

The Quality Specialist will ensure that all products and processes meet the required quality standards within a heavy‑manufacturing, construction or shipyard environment. You will apply QA/QC principles, interpret technical documents and support the team in maintaining compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform QA/QC inspections and tests in accordance with industry standards and company procedures.
• Read and interpret codes, specifications, and advanced blueprints to verify compliance.
• Document findings and generate reports using standard software tools.
• Follow written and verbal instructions accurately and communicate procedures to team members.
• Utilize MS Outlook, Word and Excel for documentation, reporting and correspondence.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of craft experience (welding, electrical, fitting, painting, etc.) in heavy manufacturing, construction or shipyard settings.
• Prior experience performing quality testing or inspections.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or within a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Outlook, MS Word and MS Excel.
• Ability to read and interpret codes, specifications and advanced blueprints.
• Understanding of quality assurance and control principles.
