About the role
Join the Department of Community Health to lead quality improvement initiatives across managed care organizations in Georgia. The specialist will act as the primary point of contact for performance improvement projects, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations while supporting network providers.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the point of contact for Managed Care Organizations on specific performance improvement (PI) projects.
- Provide technical support and lead quality performance improvement activities, including training network providers.
- Prepare routine PI performance updates, reports, and ongoing performance reporting aligned with regulatory requirements.
- Analyze data submitted by Managed Care Organizations to monitor and track performance.
Required profile
- Strong background in project management within a healthcare setting.
- Significant experience in quality improvement, disease management, primary care, or case management in a managed‑care health plan.
- Superior communication and writing abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with members, network agencies, families, and government staff, respecting cultural differences.
