Quality Engineer – Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Quality Engineer to support our manufacturing operations in the materials distribution sector. You will work directly on the shop floor with operators and supervisors to ensure product quality from launch through full production.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary quality presence on the manufacturing floor, identifying and resolving issues in real time.
• Lead APQP activities for new and existing programs, including PPAP submissions, control plans, PFMEA development and process validation.
• Investigate product and process non‑conformances using structured root‑cause methods (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Maintain and update quality documentation such as work instructions, inspection standards and control plans.
• Monitor key quality metrics (scrap, rework, yield, customer complaints) and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Support internal and customer audits to ensure compliance with ISO, IATF and other quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record supporting new product launches and APQP processes.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to communicate effectively with operators, technicians and leadership.
