Quality Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join Bosch’s production sites in Florence. The role supports internal quality processes for steering control units, servo and sensor lines, ensuring compliance with Bosch’s high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate internal 8D problem‑solving activities across SCU, Servo and Sensor Unit lines.
• Manage plant‑to‑plant PPAP submissions, support logistics and change management for trial runs.
• Handle quality alerts, containment actions and concession assessments, including risk analysis and approvals.
• Conduct product and process audits, support QMS internal and external audits, and perform 5S checks.
• Provide daily guidance to QMM technicians and coordinate with manufacturing, engineering and management teams on all shifts.
• Collaborate with project leads, sales and design engineers in Florence, Plymouth and Queretaro.

Required profile

• Experience in automotive or industrial quality engineering, preferably with exposure to 8D, PPAP and quality alerts.
• Strong communication skills to work with cross‑functional teams across multiple sites.
• Ability to operate in a shift environment and support continuous improvement initiatives.

• SAP for material movements and transaction handling.
