About the role

Infosys is seeking a Python Developer to join its Financial Services unit in Chicago. You will work on AI‑driven digital transformation projects for banking, wealth management and insurance clients, collaborating with industry experts and delivering innovative software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Document and refine business requirements as part of the elicitation process.
• Participate in design discussions, capture decisions and guide the technical team.
• Develop, test and integrate new features into existing Python applications while ensuring system stability.
• Conduct code reviews, maintain repositories and implement bug‑fixes.
• Define and execute test strategies, analyse results and coordinate quality improvements.
• Create user training materials, documentation and support frameworks for smooth deployments.
• Assist in production issue resolution and propose preventive measures.
• Maintain detailed records of code changes, testing techniques and support activities.

Required profile

• Strong collaborative spirit with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage end‑to‑end SDLC phases from requirement gathering to implementation.
• Experience translating complex requirements into actionable development tasks.
