Provider Scheduling Coordinator – Neurology (St Mary)

About the role

This position is responsible for scheduling and maintaining physician and ancillary appointment calendars for the Neurology department at St. Mary. It also develops computer training programs and assists with resolving computer and printing issues.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance of appointment schedules, including opening new monthly schedules and handling multiple daily book‑outs and changes.
• Maintain physician and ancillary master schedules.
• Develop and implement computer training programs for new and existing staff.
• Download, distribute reports and perform miscellaneous administrative duties.
• Identify and resolve computer issues related to user IDs and print setup.
• Provide other related duties as required.

Required profile

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year related experience in scheduling or administrative support.
• Ability to travel between facilities as needed.
• Familiarity with relevant federal, state and local regulations and accreditation standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Windows‑style applications and keyboard for data entry and retrieval.
• Experience managing large transit information systems and translating scheduling requirements into system specifications.
• Strong computer troubleshooting skills for user ID and printer configuration issues.
