Project Manager - Structures

About the role

Horrocks is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead its Structures practice in New Mexico. You will own bridge and transportation structure projects from concept through delivery, working closely with clients, engineers, and multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, evaluate, and analyze highway bridges, retaining walls, and other structural components.
• Prepare designs, quantity take‑offs, cost estimates, and specifications.
• Deliver PS&E contract documents on time and within budget for local, federal, and state DOT agencies.
• Maintain client relationships, ensure satisfaction, and meet client objectives.
• Develop project work plans, scopes, schedules, and fee proposals.
• Monitor project budgets, invoicing, and schedule compliance.
• Coordinate meetings with stakeholders and share resources across offices.
• Assist in proposal preparation, including oral presentations.

Required profile

• B.S. in Civil Engineering.
• 10‑15 years of bridge and transportation structures design and project management experience.
• Proven track record of meeting project deadlines and budgets.
• Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Experience managing technical staff and multiple concurrent projects.
