Project Manager (PE) – Engineering & Architecture

About the role

We are seeking a licensed Project Manager (PE) to lead multidisciplinary engineering and architecture projects for our Tampa (or Lakeland) office. The role is accountable for weekly execution, managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk while serving as the primary client contact.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee overall project production, delivery, and client updates.
• Develop and maintain project plans covering scope, schedule, and budget.
• Prepare and negotiate contract and Extra Work Authorization (EWA) scopes and fees.
• Maintain Smartsheet tracking aligned with financial reporting and milestones.
• Lead a production team through weekly reviews, task assignments, coaching, and coordination.
• Monitor labor budgets versus actuals, address variances, and propose EWAs or ETCs as needed.
• Act as day‑to‑day client liaison, escalating strategic issues and supporting upsell opportunities.
• Prepare pre‑bills, percentage‑complete updates, and billing notes; assist collections.
• Enforce safety, delegation of authority, and maintain project documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture (Master’s or MBA preferred).
• Active professional licensure (PE, RA, or PSM).
• Minimum 5 + years progressive A/E/C experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Smartsheet.
• Experience using VantagePoint.
• Ability to create reports and dashboards in Power BI.
