Project Manager – HVAC (Commercial)

About the role

We are a growing mechanical contractor seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial HVAC and plumbing projects. The role involves overseeing projects from planning through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all phases of commercial HVAC/plumbing projects, from initial planning to final handover.
• Review and negotiate contracts to secure optimal terms for the company.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, tracking milestones and deadlines.
• Control project budgets, providing regular financial updates to senior management.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other construction professionals.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards.
• Identify and resolve issues that could affect timelines or costs.
• Communicate progress and address client concerns throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor work quality and implement corrective actions as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience managing commercial plumbing or HVAC projects.
• Proven ability to handle projects ranging from $50 k to $25 M.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing and HVAC systems.
• Experience reviewing and negotiating contracts.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Commitment to workplace safety and a proactive, solution‑oriented mindset.
