Project Manager – Construction & Infrastructure

About the role

Artheon, a multi‑discipline engineering firm serving the New York‑New Jersey market, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex construction and modernization projects within the transportation infrastructure sector.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and coordinate design and construction activities for high‑visibility projects under senior client guidance.
• Ensure quality, compliance, and performance standards across all consultants, vendors, and contractors.
• Make timely decisions to keep projects on schedule and within approved cost limits.
• Identify and correct design or construction errors early in the project lifecycle.
• Develop, monitor, and adjust project schedules, phasing plans, and resource allocations.
• Serve as the primary interface with contractors, construction managers, local stakeholders, and senior project officers.
• Contribute to the creation and revision of firm‑wide procedures and policies.
• Provide guidance to junior project officers and resolve field‑report issues, change orders, and contract interpretations.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex construction or modernization projects, preferably in transportation infrastructure.
• Strong decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to coordinate multiple consultants, vendors, and on‑site teams.
• Familiarity with contract administration, change‑order processes, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with senior client representatives and internal staff.
