Project Expeditor – Procurement & Materials Coordination

About the role

The Procurement Expeditor supports Enerflex’s Engineered Systems unit by ensuring critical materials, equipment, and supplies arrive on schedule. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the role focuses on expediting shipments, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining supplier performance.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with vendors and service providers to meet project production and on‑site construction schedules.
• Prepare and deliver expediting reports that communicate equipment and material status to the project team.
• Update purchase orders in SAP with accurate delivery dates as needed.
• Resolve material discrepancies on supplier shipments and facilitate repair or replacement of defective items.
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain knowledge of local factory representatives and authorized distributors.
• Maintain current price lists and discount schedules, and assist with special projects as assigned.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience with SAP‑MM or a comparable ERP system.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent work experience.
• 3‑5 years of procurement experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with engineered products.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with staff at all levels.
• Willingness to work occasional overtime and to handle time‑sensitive tasks.
