Project Engineer (EIT) – Civil Design

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Project Engineer (EIT) to join our multi‑disciplined engineering and architectural design team. The position supports civil design projects, primarily in stormwater and land development, and works under the supervision of a licensed Professional Engineer.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of engineering solutions for civil projects.
• Create and review detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation using AutoCAD/Civil3D.
• Monitor project progress, adjust schedules as needed, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Prepare and maintain project reports, design changes, and status updates.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies in collaboration with senior staff.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to management and clients.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Recent graduate or candidate eligible for EIT registration, with up to 1 + year of civil design experience.
• Strong analytical and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Detail‑oriented, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks within project schedules and budgets.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil3D.
• Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Familiarity with Deltek Vision and Smartsheet.
• Knowledge of ICPR, WaterCAD, and WaterGEMS is a plus.
