Programme Management Intern – Culture, Innovation & Inclusion

About the role

The Office for Coordination and Shared Services (OCSS) within the UN Peace and Security Pillar seeks a Programme Management Intern to support an inclusive, innovative organisational culture through the “Building Our Pillar” programme. Reporting to the Senior Programme Management Officer, the intern will work in a hybrid setting, contributing to communications, data analysis and change‑management activities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing the weekly newsletter and other internal communications.
• Collect, analyse and visualise quantitative and qualitative information for staff engagement.
• Update online platforms with staff engagement activities and resources.
• Support change‑management initiatives and help coordinate specific events.
• Perform ad‑hoc tasks as required.

Required profile

• Enrolled in or having completed a graduate programme, or in the final year of a bachelor’s degree, in a field related to the internship.
• Fluency in spoken and written English; knowledge of French or another UN language is an advantage.
• Proficiency with standard software applications, especially MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Teams.
• Ability to design surveys and polls is desirable.
