About the role
The University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture is seeking a Program Associate to support its Food Safety initiatives. Working under the Nutrition and Food Safety Specialist, the associate will join the Family and Consumer Sciences team to advance statewide food safety education and outreach.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in implementing food safety and home food preservation education programs across Arkansas.
- Coordinate training sessions, workshops, and outreach activities for County Extension Agents.
- Develop and maintain resources for cottage food, food entrepreneurship, and consumer food safety initiatives.
- Support curriculum development and provide mentorship to extension staff.
Required profile
- Works under guidance of the Nutrition and Food Safety Specialist.
- Member of the Family and Consumer Sciences team.
