Production Utility – Foam Manufacturing

About the role

Join FXI, a leading foam innovator, as a Production Utility. You will support the daily flow of foam manufacturing, ensuring raw materials are ready, equipment runs smoothly, and finished goods meet quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and stage raw materials, including threading the laminator.
• Adjust motor speeds, manage foam placement, windup, cutting, and roll handling to meet yardage targets.
• Tag finished goods, seal them with hot‑iron plastic, and apply labels as required.
• Monitor process and product specifications, stop production to address quality issues, and report non‑conformances.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area following 5S principles and environmental guidelines.
• Read and follow SOPs, SEPs, and other English‑language plant policies.
• Mentor new employees during onboarding and suggest process improvements.
• Perform basic arithmetic (decimals and fractions) for production calculations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in foam manufacturing or a related industry.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions in English.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Team‑oriented mindset with good communication skills.
