Product Marketing Manager – Developer Marketing

About the role

Chromatic is looking for a Product Marketing Manager focused on developer marketing. You will create technical assets that help engineering teams understand, adopt, and extract value from Chromatic and Storybook, working closely with Sales, Developer Experience, and Product.

Key responsibilities

• Write deep technical blog posts, tutorials, and guides that help engineers implement Chromatic features.
• Build comparison pages, case studies, and interactive assets such as quizzes and calculators.
• Design and launch onboarding and nurturing assets, including chat flows and email drip campaigns.
• Run live webinars and workshops to move developers through the funnel.
• Develop technical sales enablement materials – demos, decks, and talk tracks – that embed a developer voice.
• Collect field feedback, distill developer pain points, and help shape product positioning and messaging.

Required profile

• 5+ years of product marketing experience targeting developers.
• Proven track record of building multi‑use assets that generate pipeline and product adoption.
• Ability to earn developer trust through accurate, clear technical communication.
• Experience working in a distributed, remote‑first environment.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript and React (or similar frameworks) for building web pages.
• Familiarity with Storybook and frontend engineering tools.
• Experience creating interactive web assets and technical documentation.
