Product Manager, Human Data Platform

About the role

Anthropic’s Human Data Platform team builds the infrastructure and tools that collect high-quality data to improve its AI models. As the Product Manager you will guide the development of labeling interfaces, data pipelines, and operational visibility, ensuring the platform scales with the evolving data needs of Claude.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the product roadmap for human-data tooling, balancing priorities across interfaces, infrastructure, data quality and visibility.
• Collaborate closely with engineering to scope, prototype and ship features rapidly in a fast-moving environment.
• Develop a deep understanding of research and training workflows to identify high-leverage tooling investments.
• Detect recurring patterns in ad-hoc requests and drive the creation of reusable, scalable infrastructure.
• Participate in crowd-worker and vendor sessions to surface pain points and inform product decisions.
• Establish and monitor outcome-based KPIs such as time-to-launch for data collection projects, end-to-end data quality scores, and impact on model evaluation metrics.

Required profile

• Passion for ensuring that advanced AI systems have a positive societal impact.
• Comfort operating in ambiguous, high-stakes environments and shaping product strategy.
• Proven experience shipping products that required deep technical understanding.
• Direct experience working with AI/ML research teams.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both crowd-workers and research scientists about workflow and data quality.
• Quick learner capable of grasping a wide range of complex technical systems.
• Interest in human-AI interaction and designing experiences that yield high-quality data.
