Product Engineer

About the role

LiteLLM is building the next generation of AI infrastructure and needs a Product Engineer to work directly with the founders. You will translate developer needs into production‑ready features, ship quickly, and see your work used by thousands of engineering teams worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and launch new product features from concept to production.
• Engage with customers to understand pain points, validate ideas, and iterate on solutions.
• Write high‑quality production code, primarily using Python and FastAPI.
• Prototype ideas, gather feedback, and continuously improve major product areas.
• Collaborate on API, dashboard, and CLI experiences to create intuitive developer tools.
• Partner with the founders on product direction and technical decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience building production software.
• Ability to move across the stack (backend, frontend, infrastructure, APIs) as needed.
• High ownership, curiosity about customer usage, and comfort operating in ambiguity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
