PRN PSA – PRI Inpatient Units (Temporary)

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a PRN Patient Service Associate (PSA) to support the PRI Inpatient Units on an as‑needed basis. This temporary, fixed‑term position offers flexible shift coverage to ensure high‑quality patient care within a collaborative hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient support and assistance in inpatient units, including admission, transport, and discharge activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and services rendered.
• Coordinate with nursing staff, physicians, and ancillary departments to facilitate smooth patient flow.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection‑control standards.

Required profile

• Legal authorization to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Prior experience in a clinical or patient‑service setting is preferred.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
