Physician - Interventional Pain Management

About the role

Ochsner Health Baton Rouge is seeking a board‑certified or board‑eligible Interventional Pain Management physician to join its expanding outpatient service line. The position focuses on chronic pain care, combining interventional procedures with comprehensive peri‑operative management.

Key responsibilities

• Perform a full range of interventional pain procedures in an outpatient setting.
• Participate in a monthly outpatient call rotation shared among the physician group, with no inpatient or hospital consult duties.
• Develop and maintain relationships within an expanding referral network.
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical records to document and coordinate patient care.

Required profile

• Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Interventional Pain Management, fellowship trained.
• Strong interest in chronic pain management and ability to provide comprehensive outpatient and peri‑operative care.
• Commitment to using comprehensive electronic medical records and collaborating within a multi‑specialty team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with EPIC EMR platform.
• Expertise in interventional pain procedures.
