Physician, Concurrent Inpatient Review (Full-time, 30 hrs/week, Remote)

About the role

CorroHealth is seeking a Medical Director to perform concurrent inpatient reviews for hospital clients across the United States. This fully remote position offers a predictable 30‑hour weekly schedule focused on weekend coverage, allowing you to balance professional growth with personal commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct concurrent clinical case reviews of hospital admissions and determine appropriate admission status.
• Provide evidence‑based recommendations to ensure compliance with Medicare and private payer regulations.
• Collaborate with hospital staff to improve utilization management and reimbursement outcomes.
• Participate in a structured four‑week remote training program before assuming review duties.

Required profile

• Board‑certified or eligible physician with experience in inpatient care and utilization review.
• Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and private payer policies.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet scheduled review deadlines.
• Willingness to work weekend hours according to the defined schedule.
