About the role

The Physical Therapy Assistant will provide routine patient care under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist at the Kings Hwy location. This role involves delivering prescribed treatments, documenting progress, and ensuring compliance with clinical standards.

Key responsibilities

Perform physical therapy treatments as prescribed by the physician under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
Document patient progress, maintain records, and communicate any changes in patient status to the therapist.
Participate in staff and committee projects and achieve productivity targets set by administration.

Required profile

Associate’s degree from an accredited physical therapy assistant program.
Current Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of practice (or eligibility for licensure).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Required skills

Proficiency with computers, software, and web‑based applications for documentation and communication.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
