About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a Pharmacy Specialist to join its Ambulatory Care team. This clinical staff position supports patient‑centered pharmacy services on a day‑shift schedule within the UAMS campus.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pharmacy services to ambulatory care patients, including medication therapy management and counseling.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize medication regimens.
• Ensure accurate dispensing, labeling, and documentation of prescriptions.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research projects.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations.

Required profile

• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
