Per Diem ICU Registered Nurse – Day Shift

About the role

Kingman Healthcare Inc. is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse to work day shifts in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The RN will deliver patient‑centered care under the direction of physicians, adhering to the Arizona State Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide evidence‑based nursing care to prevent healthcare‑acquired conditions and readmissions.
• Perform comprehensive assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes.
• Practice standard precautions and handle contaminated materials safely.
• Coordinate nursing personnel, ensure quality of patient care, and maintain patient satisfaction.
• Assist with orientation of new staff as requested.

Required profile

• Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma.
• Current, valid Arizona RN license (or compact state license) and BLS certification.
• Minimum five years of nursing experience for full‑time weekend, evening, or night shifts.
• Unit‑specific certifications: ACLS (required upon hire), Basic EKG competency (within 30 days), and other certifications as applicable to the ICU setting.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Basic Electrocardiogram (EKG) competency.
• De‑escalation techniques and Trauma Nursing Core Course (S.T.A.B.L.E.) as required.
