Payroll Tax Analyst (Mid-Senior)

Main Missions

• Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and regulations.
• Manage payroll tax filings and maintain meticulous records of all tax payments and registrations.
• Collaborate closely with tax service providers and the Treasury department to facilitate timely and accurate tax payments.
• Oversee year-end processing, including the management of W-2 and 1042 forms.
• Resolve IRS notices and manage tax ID registrations and documentation.
• Support internal and external audits and respond to complex tax information requests.
• Provide expert support for foreign employee tax inquiries via Salesforce.
• Monitor legislative changes and assist in payroll system update testing.

Profile Required

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in payroll taxation.
• Strong understanding of complex payroll practices and tax compliance.
• Exceptional research skills and a high level of attention to detail.
• Proven ability to analyze data, identify key trends, and produce clear, actionable reports.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in PeopleSoft or similar enterprise payroll systems.
• Advanced knowledge of US Federal, State, and Local tax regulations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Data analysis and reporting expertise.
• Proficiency in Salesforce or similar ticketing systems.
